I am not sure, if this is just a myth or reality. I observe that this forum is lacking the activity and charm.
I have been a member of this forum since the begining, infact i was part of MSN BDAsites group.
Earlier if query was posted, response would hav come in couple of hours. Now this is not the case.
Is there something that could be done?

Thanks for your feedback.Our analysis shows gradual increase in the no of post per day & no of members per day .Since we are monitoring the site very closely to avoid any kind of spam ,the postings may be less but valuable.Please do come up with suggestions to keep this forum more active and lively.Our moderators and admins are getting busy with maintaining the forum alone .So there knowledge sharing has come down in the recent times.
We are looking for more moderators........

To add to Namburi's comments, our unanswered queries is around 8% (http://mybdasites.com/search.php?search_id=unanswered). I believe we are doing good in this section than the forums that are accessed nation wide. Currently we can see that on an average there are 20+ posts per day are discussed in the forum.
From admin end, we are trying to moderate the real estate marketing and agents from entering and starting the discussions to market their services.
All the registration requests are thoroughly monitored before approving their registrations.
We have not done any marketing for the forum. The forum is driven purely by the members and their word of mouth publicity. We are not even trying to build back links by replying to some blog entries. (We did earlier but realized that its not worth). All the support requests are responded in 24hrs and we are trying our best to avoid any downtimes.
Couple of things that we feel that are required are that now the forum has good content, its time that our members start publicising it in their respective circles. Face book is one option and we have already integrated it. Referring the forum to any of your friends or colleagues who writes blogs so that we can get some good recommendations in their blog posts.
The admin team's motive has always been to 'focus on the content and make the buyer the center of the stage than the agent'. So, even after completing 3yrs, we are not even thinking about commercialization of the forum (no ads or 'interviews' by service providers), though many suggested to make quick buck out of this. Not sure about the future though, depends on the web site operations costs.
We do require members to come up with more ideas and we are always open to any suggestion about the forum organization. We shall expand the existing subforums and add new things on the request of members. We are already working on the ideas shared by members earlier on the website design and also on SEO. Thanks for responding to this thread. Well i did notice that lot agents made an entry. there could be few who are willing to provide information at the same time
look for business from here in form of prospective clients. I would think it is bad. Yes one shoudl keep a close watch on who is genuine and who is not.
How about giving credit ratings- Example 100 good posts you are entitled to promote or have signature or phone number. Promote - invite your friends and get something in free.
Regarding earning few buck, i dont think it bad idea, yes just make sure too much of ads should not hinder the readers. readers will leave the forum.
