Lintel :7ft low roof

Hi

When we say lintel at 7ft does it mean 6.4ft wall + 9 inch beam or 7ft wall + 9inch beam.

If i need to have low roof at 7ft then do i have to fix the columns at 7ft or 6.4ft.Plz clarify

Hi velu,
You need to built wall up to 7'and then 9"lintel beam above.
