Construction on Terrace

Hi All/Praveen
Need your help, i have a house constructed on a 30x40 with a terrace of around 1000 sq feet, i want to cover this place with a temporary construction ( may be fabricated or combination )where i can use this if i construct a regular house on the first floor, i am doing this to basically cover the following issues

1. To avoid the hot summers( as its only a ground floor house)
2. To create a extra space for Children to play and also myself for studying( some privacy)
3. To create utilities, to keep washing machines

Can you pls suggest a very cheap way to cover this terrace to address the above point( as i am not in a position to spend too much money now and also i cannot construct a regular house in the first floor)

I am betting on a good suggestion from the forum so that i can be benifitted

Hello,
Its a good idea to cover your roof with temporary steel and PPGI sheets, this may cost you about approx. Rs150000.00 for your entire area.
you may also use Onduline sheets.
