borewell water force going down

Post by mramki_77 »

Dear all,
We have a problem in our apartment. The force of the borewell water is going down. Previously it used to take 2 hours to fill the tank. These days it takes 8 hours for the same. This change happened over a fortnight. We are not sure if this is due to groundwater depletion or borewell motor not functioning properly. If anyone faced this issue, please provide some pointers. Also info on particular agencies who would pinpoint the actual issue would be helpful.

Thanks

Hello Ram

fundamentally, Ground water level decreases when number of Borewells increases in a area. Since its rainy season with above average raining in bangalore in this season, there is no reason for sudden depletion of water level so drastically.

Chances are more of technical faults in the Pump or its pipeline.

In either case you need to contact a skilled plumber or the borewell drilling agency to find out the rootcause.

Some times it is possible that the pipe running through the ground may be having some leakages and so the force will come down. Any case, you need to contact the plumber to ascertain what is the problem.
