Movers and packers

Post by Brinda »

After my house renovation completes, I need to move many heavy furnitures ( which can not be disassembled) to the first floor and also heat pump to the terrace. Unfortunately we have access to the first floor and terrace only through a spiral staircase and hence are not sure how we should move and these furnitures and heat pump. Could you kindly advice how to go about this ? And also any recommendations of some contacts / companies that are realised and cost effective would be really helpful. Thank you

Heat pump is not very heavy but for furniture etc you can use pully even normal pully and should work, Normal single pully will be 600- 700 Rs.
But suppose if you want to do DIY, to reduce effort you can move stuff using a chain pully block for approx 2.5 -3K rs. install an I beam bracket on terrace parapet wall.

Usually chain pully can be rented from shops renting out tools etc however since your residence is permanent you can keep it with you for any future use.

Here is a link buying/renting from local market should be cheaper as weight is more.

Can you tell which heat pump you purchased and how much is the price ?

Thank you for the information. But DIY is not an option at the moment. Could you share contacts of people who move furniture and other stuff to the terrace / first floors of buildings in a reliable way and are also cost effective ?
