Legal opinion reqd for plot purchased through bda auction?

wanted to know if w eneed to get papers verified for a site bought through bda auction. some ppl said its not required because we are like allotees, but not sure if its risky

Its always safe to get the papers verified thoroughly even for the BDA Auctioned sites. BDA is also made of ordinary human beings and errors are common.

During 2005-06, my friend was a successful bidder for a corner site in Basaveshwara Nagara. But already a case was running between the original land owner and BDA. My friend had paid the amount to BDA through plot loan from ICICI Bank. Finally BDA refunded his full amount after 3-4 months.

There are plenty of cases where BDA auctioned sites belonging to someone else or auctioned twice. Read the attached file for the recent one, where High Court fined BDA for similar mistake.
