Also, one more thing i want to know is, I have heard that govt doesnt allow apartments to be built if road in front is less than 30ft wide.
Is it true for houses too?
Is it ok to buy a site which has just 25ft road in front of it if papers are clear etc? Will we have any problem in taking electricity/water connection etc later?

There is no relationship between the road width & site. FYI, BDA sites of size 20*30 will have only 20ft road in front of it etc.,
Building apartments depend on the site measurement, it should be above 5000sft i guess according to the new BBMP Byelaws. The road width comes into consideration only on your construction of no.of floors(FAR). So there is no problem in taking electricity/water connection.

You can go thru the BBMP Byelaws or ask any architect who is well versed with BBMP rules. You can also search for Ardes Architects in this forum. They know all these things.
