SMV Layout - BDA e-auction : 47.70 sq.m site fetches more than Rs. 1 crore

Today's ( 03 Jan 2022 ) Indian Express reports ( picture attached ) that a BDA site measuring 47.70 sq.m fetched more than Rs. 1 crore in the recently concluded auction.

47.7 SQ Mt = 514 Sq ft
514 sqft site auctioned for more than 1cr rs means, price >19,450/sft.
Ridiculous Price.

I hope BDA is not creating unnecessary demand through know bidders so that the common man should not buy and then sell the same site to another person through fraud and forged documents.
You never know what can BDA officials do!!!!
19K for sites is in SMV layout definitely unbelievable unless some found a treasure under the ground of that site
