Hello residents of SMVL 2nd, 4th, 6th blocks,

The NICE road from Kengeri to Magadi road passes very close to some sites across SMVL 2nd block, 4th block, and 6th block. (e.g., near Oxford college at 6th block, and National Hill view public school at 6th Block).

I have a question regarding the amount of noise generated from the traffic movement on the NICE road.
1. Do you know of anyone who has a plot 2-3 roads away from the NICE road, and have constructed a house, and can share their experiences?
2. I do hear the vehicle movement and honking when outside, but I would like to know from the residents if that´s not causing any sleep problems, or disturbances to study during the day and night.

Any feedback from real experiences would be highly appreciated.

Thank you

I have few relatives residing on extremely busy / noisy ring roads. Those who built houses long ago, have some noise getting in at the night though it's not to the extent of causing sleep disturbances. However, recently built houses with Finesta style windows/doors have hardly any external noise getting inside. It's very calm and peaceful inside.
On a different thought though I am wondering how much of Bangalore is available far from ring roads, NICE roads, metro tracks, suburban rail tracks, internal main roads. It's a gamble to choose to live in the middle of the city chaos or far away peaceful suburbs.
