Hi folks,

I have got my house flooring done and it involved granite as well as marble laying.
As agreed, following were rate for laying:

Marble: 60
Granite:30

I was assuming this includes all cutting required as contractor didnt mentioned any separate charge for same, and now he is quoting 15 Rs psft as cutting charge.
Shouldnt it be included in laying charge ? or how do i calculate the cutting involved.

Please help as it looks like, he is fleecing me.

There is no separate cutting charges for Granite laying. Rs.30 should include both cutting & laying.

Please post some more details about your experience , where did you buy your granite, granite and at what prices.
