Any idea if BBMP has started issuing Khatas on properties that are situated in the earlier CMC areas?

I heard that they have started , but am not sure and donno anybody who got it done either.

I am trying , I will let you know what happens.
But yes they are accepting applications for sure. Might charge a heavy bribe.

For DC converted sites, is the BBMP started issuing khata?
The layout was under Begur Gramthana (Bommanahalli). When should I expect the khata transfer to be done?

I am looking for a khata for my DC converted site and have been waiting for a while now for the khata so we can get started with our construction. The layout has houses already built, but those folks built it prior to the move to BBMP. I am eager to build and move in there.

Is it safe to purchase a site with DC conversion but no BBMP khata or layout plan approval ? The DC conversion has been done for the entire layout. The developer will increase the price once he has the BBMP khata, layout plan approval. As of now he is asking for about 25% of the total money with an agreement. What are the risks involved here ? Please advice

Hi,

I too have a site in layout that is DC converted. However, BBMP has clarified that khata can and will be issued only after the Sakrama scheme is put in place (which will take place after BBMP elections). The reason told to me is that the developer had paid only the conversion charges and not the betterment charges. Therfore the elarliest time frame for khata isual could be Septemebr 09.

Thanks for that information. In that case what kind of agreement you have made with the developer ? Without Khata I think even registration is not possible now.

my be BBMP katha will be issued after elections , however with panchyath katha properties are getting registered and bank loan possible (for plot/composite loan),

But the cost was huge. (25k)
