Hi all,

I have been allocated site in Kempegowda layout as per the provisional list. I know that till the final list is out, nothing is for sure. But going by all the news and also the kind of slow paced developments happening at other layouts like BSK, anjanapura etc I feel KG layout will take years to develop. With the initial cost so high, is it really worth going for this? It's hard earned money and I am very doubtful whether there will be any appreciation even to match the interest rate for the loan. Also the news that BDA has been chosen to undertake the steel bridge construction, there is a fear that the money generated from KG layout allocation will go towards funding the bridge construction. If so, what money will BDA have to do any development in KG layout. Any expert opinion on this is much appreciated.

I agree that the organization is doing a very slow job which is not expected at all !!!

But there is a 100ft road promised and once this comes up, there will be rapid development in surroundings, Offcourse, it will take 1-2 years before it shapes up. (But by then the cost would also be escalated)

This bda site cost is ten times more than the earlier site so bda should not take long time to develop the layout

If that is the case, its a good news if its true.

Also Metro Depot is coming at Challaghatta (Which is near Mysore road after NICE Road). Hope if they make a station attached to it, then people can travel from KG Layout across all parts of bangalore.

Hope someone gets this news to known people in BDA/BMRCL to try if there is a possibility.

Yes....Metro depo will be constructed at challagata village,it will starting point....

We can see 2 different reports on allotment final list by different leading news papers.....lets see they will announce by evening it seems hope for the best....waiting for one more week no issues for us we waited for a year now.....
