Hi

Please refer to the technical specifications in their web site for smart SUB HOS 1.0

You can check with Premier marketing; Balachander 9448417391. I was told that this will be sufficient up to 100 feet height.

Hello
I am looking for a good, reliable pump for pumping water from sump to the overhead tank (may be 40-50 ft high). I am very confused with which brand to go. My plumber quoted 8K for Suguna which is not a submersible pump. Since my sump capacity is only 4500 lts, I didnt want to opt for submersible pump which i believe is expensive compared to non-submersible pump. I dont know if 8K for Suguna which is a non-submersible pump is a good price. In this forum i read members discussing about other companies, like VGuard, Grundfos, Sharp, Texmo so on. Who can recommend by their experience, a good & reliable water pump? I shall be grateful for your replies. By the way, i plan to venture tomorrow to SP Road myself to buy. But I am sure that there will be a whole lot of shops selling these pumps from different companies and each will claim that theirs is the best. Please help.
Regards
Solomon

I think u are looking for 1HP pumps? I got Sharp submersible for 8.7k and non-submersible ones were approx 2500-3000 lesser than submersible. Not sure about Suguna though I had just enquired about Texmo and Sharp only.

Hi Shashank
yes, i did finalize on the motor for my sump. I contacted a plumber whom I trust and he suggested strongly to go for Suguna monobloc. I called up few shops in S.P Road to enquire about the rates. They quoted between 6.2K to 6.9K. I got one for 6.4 K near coffee Board itself. I realized that it was not worth going till S.P Road to save 200/-. Since the pump is heavy, i will have to take my car, hunt for car parking etc. In order to avoid these hassle, I purchased the one near to my house. So far so good. I was told that almost all of these pumps get manufactured around the same place in T.N and branded later. My uncle has Suguna monobloc pump since 15 years and works very well without any problem. This was one of the deciding factor. The only thing i have observed that it makes noise when operational. I think this is so with any other.
