Hi Visualizer,

Some builders express their experience that, generally they fix the frame at the time of wall construction and later by the finishing time, they fix the Door, there will be warping or shrinkage or dimensional variation between the Door & the Frame, if the wood is not seasoned well.

So would like to, How seasoned are the woods used for these Readymade Doors.

They said then wood is seasoned by klin drying on boiler.

Secondly in my view it's better to fit door frames should be fixed after plastering , putty and paint primer is done. There will be some cutting of plaster/masanory and refixing however it protects wood from damages during construction. In my childhood i had seen doorframe was erected first and wall built around it however availing of power tools and cutters have changed the scenario.
