DC conversion number will be written in the Sale deed. Look for it.

Conversion number will be there in sale deed.If not one cannot get conversion copy as the search is made using it.

Hi,
I'm planning to purchase a plot. Current owner purchased it 22 years ago. He doesn't have a DC conversion copy. The sale deed also doesn't have the conversion number.
The layout has already a lot of constructions completed including apartments and few under works.
Is there a way I can get the DC conversion copy?
Can I request the owners of the other properties in the same layout for DC conversion copy? Or should I approach the developer?
