Hi Folks,

I plan on starting my house build soon.. I would like your inputs on the overall scheme.. This is a 30x40 property in Indiranagar.. both sides and back of the property have other homes.. this is a west facing towards the road.. The property has a large tree almost 2 feet from it..attaching the current plan..

I am unable to attach the third Floor attachment.. will try it as a separate post

The entrance of the rent house could be from side or backside , so that you can have your privacy .

Just wanted clarity on the plan approval payments.. I have been asked to provide 2 DDs one for 72K and the other for 25K to the Commissioner BBMP.. These I am good with..

However along with this I am being asked to make a Bank Transfer of RS 46693 to Secretary.. Karnataka Building and other construction worker welfare board Bangalore

Is this something others have also done.. your urgent feedback would be much appreciated..

The design is by an architect according to my requirements

Any guidance on the plan approval charges related to Workers Welfare

Hi Currywurst,
BBMP plan approval usually has 3 charges

1) building plan approval charges
2) road cutting permission charges
3) KA state labour welfare fund charges
charges depends upon site dimension and construction area

Thanks Bhagatam for the inputs.. So the Labour Welfare Charges are valid.. my only concern was the first 2 I am asked to give a DD while the Welfare Fund I am asked to do Bank Transfer..

Labour welfare charges are valid and been collected for a long time now, its just that the amount goes to Karnataka Labour Welfare Board .
