Registration charges for a site under BBMP

Hi All ,

I am planning to register a DC converted site which is under BBMP limits .

My developer said , i need to get 3 DD's. One for 5.1% , second one for 1% , third one for 0.5 %.

I want to know is this right ? What are these 3 DD's for ?

Hi ,

As said by your developer it is right.i got a registration on 16/oct/2015 with 3 DD's as 5.1%;1% and 0.5%.
I dont know why 3 DD's but i checked with sub registrar office also and they affirmed it .

Earlier 5.6 % and 1% DD was required . Why there is a split now ? Any idea ?

5.1% is the Stamp duty, 1% is registration charges & 0.5% is towards cess, this was bifurcated recently.
Now also they are accepting 2 DDs like before, but it is better take 3 DDs here after to be on safer side.
