Hi,
I am looking to purchase a plot in Sri krishna layout in dodda kammanahalli (off bannergatta road) (adjacent to Nice Road).
The owner says it is a DC converted and bbmp A khatha (no betterment charges paid yet, he is ready to pay but.) he is quoting around Rs.2600/-
Is there any known legal issues with that layout.

the site is very close to the meenakshi lake. should I have to look for any specific clearance as lake is very close ( around 10 ft from lake).

Please guide me with this.

I own a A khata plot there.Some owners have no 'A' khatha as they haven't paid betterment charges.It is DC converted and there is space reserved for parks and one can get 'A" Khatha by paying betterment charges.There were legal issues for some plots in 2nd and 3rd crosses.To my knowledge rest of the crosses don't have.I heard some time back(4 months or so) a site(30x40) was sold for 2300/-.Better to avoid sites near to the lake.

Thank you for the info.
the sites I have seen are close to lake only( 2 sites from lake). Can you please help me why not close to lake? Is it because the lake might breach or any other reason?
Meanwhile, there are 2 60X40 sites in 2nd left from the main road.. is it 2nd cross/3rd cross?

I could not buy this. Instead bought plot in Silicon greens in Chikkanagamangala (close to Electronic City Phase2 gate).
