Depreciation of a property

Hi,
I would like to know what would be the depreciation value to considered if we are buying an old property(independent house) of 5-7 yrs old.
And how this depreciation applies to an apartment of same old?

The depreciation value of the Independent house will be based on the construction quality. An Architect designed and monitored construction will have lower depreciation when compared to an unknown contractor built house. Apartment will also vary based on the builder and the built quality. you need to approach a valuer to get a figure. He will have his own parameters to valuate the house or apartment.
