Procedure for demarcation of BDA site

Hi,
I have a site in HBR BDA layout and all the surrounding sites are currently vacant. In order to construct a compound wall, I need official measurements based on official map so that there is no issue in the future.
What is the procedure to get this demarcation done by BDA? Is there any agent who can helo me in this?
Sanjay

Alloting a bda site itself is a great work for BDA.To my knowledge there is no such department person come to site and attest that the site markings are correct.Since all the marking are done with precision tools there wouldn't any errors. In case you see any difference from the document sizes then you can approach BDA.

Thanks Mr. Praveen.
The problem is that the site was allotted to the first owner more than 15 years back and the original markings have dissappeared. The adjacent sites are also vacant.

I am also facing a similar problem where some of the markings are not there and the adjacent sites are vacant. This is a BMRDA layout developed by a private developer. I do have the layout plan. How do I know the exact start and end points for my site ? Do I have to measure from the first site ? Are some high precision instruments required for site identification ? If someone has faced similar issue, then kindly let me know.

If its direct BDA site, respective jurisdiction BDA engineer will measure and fix the boundaries. No idea about BDA/BMRDA approved one's.

Can the contractor/structural engineer help in finding the exact beginning and end of the site. Is there a special way of measuring the site that requires some special instruments ? In may CMC, B-Khatha, even BDA layouts, one cannot easily see the markings which identify a particular site. So, how is the site measured so as not to run into issues later ? In my case, the markings for the depth/rear (front side is road) and the stone marking the site centre are there but the markings for the left and right seem to be missing.

Sriram, If you do not have the BMRDA Layout map, you may apply the same from the BMRDA office. Approach the BMRDA office with the survey numbers, village name and I believe it should not cost much. I have seen some body applied for the BMRDA Layout map while I was approaching BMRDA office for my building plan.

Thanks for your reply. I DO have the BMRDA map. So, I was thinking just measure from the first site (my site is adjacent to the corner/first site) in the lane and get the staring point. But I read that some special instruments are required for measuring (I was relying on the 'measuring tape'0 so was wondering if there are engineers or some special people who do the site identification or can the house contractor take care of it.

sanchitnis, it is irrelavant to have BMRDA map. Since you have mentioned that it is BDA site, it is easy to get the demarcation done. Go to the nearest BDA office e.g. in my case it was BSK 2nd stage BDA complex and talk to an engineer. He will send an assistant who will take approx 500/- (fee without receipt) to come. I had to take this assistant in my scooter but still paid 500/-
