Birla super is still retailing at 342 & wholesale price is 335. This being a premier cement, they are commanding a premium. JP cement is getting introduced in bangalore hopefully this week, which may probably cause further dip in birla super price.

I've heard that the Sand Prices usually is higher once it starts raining. Some of the contacts that I know are quoting around 25k for 500 Cft Sand. (10 wheeler Lorry). Previously it used to be 23k. Any idea around this?

Have bought Prime Gold 500 FE yesterday and the price as on 9th May is Rs 50000 /ton. He mentioned that price fluctuation of steel somewhat resembles that of stock market movement and hence unpredictable these days..

I got ACC PPC Cement last week from my regular vendor, and the price was Rs.325 per bag. However some vendors are currently supplying it for Rs.320.

Coramandel OPC cement bags are now 316 Rs (43 grade, bulk order rate). Has gone up by 5Rs in the last week. Retail rates would be around 320. 53 grade would cost around 320Rs (and 325 rs retail rate)
