Like we were discussing in our meeting on June 22nd, we have finalized the date and time to meet the BDA Commissioner.

Tomorrow, i.e on 25 June at 3 PM, we have planned this meeting with BDA commissioner Mr. Sham Bhat at the BDA office, Kumara Park.
Request all of you to come and join us.
Agenda : To discuss the current status of UGD( Under Ground Drainage) and 80 ft road to BG road.

Please join us in huge numbers, so that our voice is heard.

P.S: This meeting invitation is open for non-members too. Simply because : we may have 100s of associations, but we are all fighting for the same cause.

Dear ANJANAPURA RESIDENTS ,
Since Almost 4 months after the announcement of E-tender for Pipe Line and GLR for Further Extension 9,10,11 blocks nothing has happened until date,

The Proposal for Supplying of Water through tankers was ACCEPTED by BWSSB due to the Enormous pressure being put by HO'BLE Member Of Parliament Shri D.K.SURESH Anna for Supply of BASIC DRINKING WATER to the residents of ANJANAPURA FURTHER EXTENSION ,9,10 and 11 Blocks just after the Floating of E-tender ,

Almost since 4 months passed by there has not been any development with regards to Supply of water through Tankers nor 80 ft ring road Serious Issue of GAZZETTE Notification for Connecting of Bannerghatta road has been solved until 30th JUNE 2014 ,We were of the view that Other Association people who are Following up with the Government bodies shall help us out But our deadline of Patience was over 30th JUNE 2014,We also have few people stating that Promises were being made to supply Water Through tankers way back During UGADI festival ,But nothing is yet happening ,

Hence forth Our Newly Formed Association "LAL BAHADUR SHASTRI NAGAR RESIDENT WELFARE ASSOCIATION (ANJANAPURA BDA LAYOUT 1-11 BLOCKS)Regd"Called upon a MEETING with HON'BLE M.P. Shri D.K.SURESH ANNA (BANGALORE RURAL CONSTITUENCY ) Yesterday 01-07-2014 and have Submitted a Letter seeking his Help to solve The Issue of supply of Drinking water through tankers which is long Delayed ,

Hon'ble M.P.Shri D.K.SURESH ANNA Has written a letter to BDA and BWSSB to solve the issue Immediately and Also stated that the Temporary Service of Providing water through Tankers should be taken up on Priority and Under the Supervision of Our Association for entire ANJANAPURA BDA LAYOUT 1-11 BLOCKS.

The letter has been Honoured By Chairman BWSSB and BDA Commissioner yesterday .

After a Breif Disccussion with BWSSB ,the Officials have clearly mentioned that There has been just 1 tanker available to supply and it is not sufficient to cater the Entire Area and Also they clearly stated that Private Tankers shall be a BETTER Solution ,Hence forth The EIC Mr.VENKAT RAJU has accepted to float Tender For tankers for which a Minimum of 21 days shall be needed,or an Alternative way also shall be accepted by him,

We have pressurised The Chairman to issue work order,But the file seems to be stuck in Technical bid yet ,We went a step ahead to get the file being kept for Technical Scrutiny meeting within this week after which Financial Bid shall be Opened,

Further to add he has very clearly mentioned that There is some issues with regards to 1-8 blocks water pipeline and has not given a Concrete Date for Supply of water through pipeline since fixing of wall and Other Testing needs to be completed from BWSSB DC works (projects) ,Only after is is handed over to MAINTENANCE he shall confirm the date to Supply of water through PIPELINE ,

We aso clarified and Requested the BWSSB Chariman not to delay water in future after fixing of walls for 1-8 Blocks later stating that there is not enough houses and As per BDA norms for which he has agreed but not given in writing ,

In PRACTICALITY ,We are left with just 1 option to have water through tankers and Hence forth we are Submitting a Proposal with BDA Commsioner to add ANJANAPURA BDA Layout 1-8 blocks until Permanent Solution through Pipe Line,

Further we are glad that our HON'BLE M.P.Shri D.K.SURESH ANNA has promised us to solve the issue of 80 ft Ring road Connecting Bannerghatta Main road on Priority and Also he himself stated that in a short while from now he Shall be Attending one of Our Association Meeting .

To add further to the misery of ANJANPURA BDA RESIDENTS ,we have got a CONCRETE news from LOCAL ANJANPURA VILLAGE panchyat EX- OFFICE BEARERS that there is planning from some govt officials for Dumping of Garbage BY BBMP to be shifted from MANDUR close to ANJANAPURA BDA LAYOUT, Hence forth letter to Hon'ble M.P.Shri D.K.SURESH Anna shall be handed over today for his quick Intervention not to allow Any such Dumping Happening hence forth ,

We call upon each and every Person/association to Join hand with us to make Anjanapura BDA layout a Developed place to live in with Basic Necessities and Infrastructure within a Short period of Time,if not a Long long wait for sure with each and every Government official just giving false promises and sweet talks .

this forum is for information requests and communication. So keep all your personal arguments amongst yourselves and don't waste any bandwidth and space on the forum. I have cleaned up a lot of posts that were going back and forth about people and personalities. We don't want to see any more of these.

I am a resident of 11th block and I got cauvery water today in tanker. As I understand it was the idea of AFERWA as an alternative solution and their hard work for the last three to four months that made it happen. Many thanks to AFERWA!

Very few people have come back and acknowledged after receiving the cauvery water by tanker.
These words are indeed motivating and AFERWA(which is every resident of 9th to 11th block) is further in process to push the authorities to increase the number of tankers from the present 1 tanker, so that each resident would receive couple of more water tankers at there door steps on monthly basis.
