Price of River sand has not sky rocketed, it is just the middle men's game who create a hype.
As far as civil engineers / contractors concerned they are still purchasing the pure river sand ranging from Rs.60-65/cft. Here the quality and quantity is examined strictly as they are aware of all the mal-practices. Middle men's so called brokers cheat the individual home builders both in-terms of quality and quantity that in-turn affects the middle class people which makes people think that material prices have sky rocketed.

asian paints have increased price by 10 to 15% and also all sanitary ware products

I have come across an online shopee building material supplier "
www.builderbazaar.in", they says midium size river sand will be supplied at 24.75k per 450 cu.ft. Did any body has any experience on this online shopee?

Planning to check out granite for flooring. Please suggest shops in Bangalore/Jigini where I can check out. Is it worth to visit Krishnagiri/Hosur?
Also floor tiles dealer who can give the best price
still we have not decided between granite vs tiles so planning to check them out.

Hi blorbuddy,
Gigini and hosur have many granite units.
Have a look at both places for many shades and rates.
Try buying in gigini as you can save interstate tax

Jigani has many shops cut sizes to gang saw....You may try Baba Stones, Navakar, MR....once you like the stone you will have to negotiate and also check other places...
