Other important info
1) We have given labour contract for 28.5K per chadra which includes 15k RCC sump, bar bending and centring. Contractor was ready to do the project for 27k per chadra if it was 6" cement block but we insisted on 8" and hence we could not reduce it further. His explanation was to carry 8" bricks male labourers are required which would increase the cost. All other things such as compound, drainage and paraphet wall is calculated based on coolie.
Hi Rashmi,
If yours is a south facing plot, could you share the home plan via PM to me?
Also, plz share your contractor details via PM. I"m planning to start construction of my home.
Thanks,
Ramki
Ours is west phasing site. Do you think it will help you?
We stay in Bangalore north.which part of Bangalore you stay ? You need a contractor from your local area or at least near by areas.

We did earth work for 8 rs per square feet. It involved removal of mud from JCB, flattening of sides from 2 workers and a tractor to load mud and unload into empty space opposite to our land.It almost coated us 22k including the Sump.I will post the pictures later.
JCB work : Almost 9-10 hours
Side smoothening work( matta) : 2 workers
Tractor : 1
I also brought imidacloprid for anti termite spraying. It coated 350 for 250 ml solution and 300 rs for sprayer.

Hope you used the right concentration on Imildachloroprid. For 35.5% SC (suspended concentration it is) 2ml per liter so for 17.5 % SC it needs to be proportionally increased.

I did not get the proportion from reading. So we added more stronger solution and sprayed it for sump only. Will do it for pillars tomorrow. What is the proportion for 17.5% SC BTW ?

Should be double logically 4ml per liter.
However don't increase the concentration more than required any insecticide is a poison after all and excess chemicals leach in ground water.
, you should spray in all of the foundation digging both at bottom and sidewalls not just in sump area. After the foundation is filled at floor bottom as well before laying PCC for flooring.
