When so much of activities are going on, why dont you put plastic sheet/tarpulin to cover the granite. There is possibility of workers pulling the table/chair/ladder and end up damaging the flooring.

If at all there is way to protect the tiles, go ahead and protect them

You have mentioned in your initial postings that the plan was to build a total buildup area of 2150 Sft whereas the contractor was quoted Rs. 1380/Sft for 3000 Sft. How did he arrived that area? is this the way all contractors arrive the total area while quoting? or is there a practice that contractors quote at buildup area as well?

If we compare the same quote to buildup area then it comes to Rs. 1925/Sft right? which i feel little higher side.

I am sorry to ask too many questions but I am new to construction and would like to understand the basic methodology. Ideas from other users is welcome too.

In my case The roof area is GF 1252 + FF 1252 Sqft. The cost that I am paying is for a Turnkey project. No etc apart for the upgraded material cost. Details I have provided in my earlier posts.
