Yesterday had been to Bangalore Tiles near Kudlu, This shop was referred by the contractor as it was the bigger shop around our place.

we had selected few designs from Khajaria before we went there, Unfortunately the prices were quite high for our choices around RS 135/sqft the basic model was Rs 60/sqft. I am planning to check for Granite also in parallel.

The plastering minus elevation should get over by this week..

Your house construction coming out really well.
How much you paid for the staircase MS grill. Is the cost based on running feet or based on Kg.

Quick question: Don't see chajja(sun shade) at all for the front facing window on first floor, side ground floor. I see chajja with large openings for the side-first floor windows. Are you not worried about rain water ingress through your wood framed windows? Do you plan to retrofit a glass chajja with steel frame? Would love to hear your thought process on this.

Thanks Jawahar, Unfortunately i don't know the exact cost as mine is a material contract, The total cost what the contractor said was around 1.15 L.

@krikks - what the contractor explained is that it will have a 6 Inches Chejja and Top near first floor roof will have glass covering. However My uncle is visiting the site in couple of weeks i am waiting to get some inputs from him.

Glass Covering for good lighting once the adjacent building comes up, Nice idea. Looks like its through and through whole length from the picture (assuming), will it not effect the ventilation? Is there any elevation picture which shows how does it come up?

These were not included in the Elevation, Something we created during the construction. With the Room being built on the top. matching the initial elevation has become a challenge. We are still figuring out how we need the final elevation to look like.

Elevation Comparison.

Today had also been to Jigani to check for Granite. Went to Solar Granite's Through reference i have kind of shortlisted couple of Granite's, Planning to complete the purchase on Saturday.

Could you please let me know the cost of granites that you have shortlisted?

Will update you on Saturday, i have not yet discussed the cost with the Granite vendor, I am looking at something around 80 - 100 Rs range. On the contract i have rs 60/Sqft
