As i was running out of time, decided to talk to one company for soil testing, Have spoken to Saravana and agreed to Rs 8000 for one Bore hole up to 4m and two core samples and associated lab test and the report. I did not negotiate the price as I'm in a hurry to get done this work. He has planned to collect the samples today and hopefully provide me the report in two days with his good work.

Venky and PVN , thanks for your help, I got done the soil strength reassessment. It was done by Saravana, He charged Rs 8500 for a borewhole and two drop cores and the associated report. The work and the report was very good. Thanks

HI, Go with structural engineers as with a lesser SBC, without adequate design in Steel you will pose the problems of SETTLING, OVERTURNING of buildings.
