Hey.
I am listed few jobs
1) first complete curing for plastering.
2) you can also complete plumbing inside line work.
3) after curing, go for wall putty coats
4)then start granite laying work.
4.1) outside plastering
5) painting of primer and one coat paint.
6) electrical wiring inside
7) you can start Interior wood work
8) outside plumbing work.
9) compound wall and grill work.

Hi sunil,

thanks for the valuable input. is there any prob if i go for granite first then wall putty? holding these people in a line is really challenging. electric wire of pipe laying shud be done before plastering right.

thanks

It's off topic , but important. Always do wiring when you have doors installed. I had heard few cases of wire theft.

No. there is no problem. But there is chance of scratch on granite.becuase painter will drag stools and bucket etc on floor.

Put a layer of POP on floor after granite or tiles are laid this POP will be removed only before you move in and will protect your floor from drops of hammer scratches etc.
Will cost some 10-20K depending on floor area but totally worth.

Sequence as per me
1. Rough plaster of bathroom walls
2. Electrical and plumbing groove cutting can continue in parallel.
If you want to hire inetrior designer for complete project engage at this point as lighting and furniture arrangement is also done by them else continue as per your plan.

3. Bathroom concealed fittings purchase and fitting divertor/mixer/thermostat etc.

4. Plaster repair for grooves cut , bathroom floor and lower portion of wall waterproofing , bathroom tiling.
Choosing and buying bathroom tiles is very laborious and time consuming.

5. putty and false ceiling (if any)

6. Granite actually point 5 putty can continue in parallel

7. Exterior primer coat can continue in parallel with granite and interior putty.

8. Door frame fitting

9. Plaster repair for door frames and crack filling.

10. Granite strips for door jamb and window cills
11. Window frames /UPVC
12. Wiring switching MCB rCCB fuse etc
13. Meter box and underground cable.
14. Window grill and MS steel painting.
15. Interior paint 1 coat and exterior paint
16..Main door fixing
17. Interior work and wardrobes + modular kitchen
18. Sumptank and oveehead tank cleaning, checking of sanitary lines and chamber.
19. Lids on sewage chambers and underground sump covers.
20. Electrcal fittings fans, exhaust, lights , geysers
21. Final coat of interior paint.
22 Drive all other workers out
23. Fixing bathroom fittings CP parts and sanitory ware.
24. Fix concealed lock on main door
25. Udghatan/puja/housewarming
