Re: Khata Transfer
Thanks Anshuraj. In my case, it will be bank loan and they will be holding all the originals. What to do in that case? Also, is it possible to get Khata myself or I should go via an advocate?
Re: Khata Transfer
You can ask your bank for "TRUE COPY" (they will put seal as "TRUE COPY" on photo copies of documents) and submit the same. I did myself and no need to pay any bribe!. You may get khata in 3 to 4 weeks if you provide all documents.

Re: Khata Transfer
I am looking for Gazetted Officer to attest the documents for Khatha Transfer. Let me know who can attest these docs.
Can it be Sub registrar/SP/BDA Engineers/etc?
Need some contacts where to find them. There is no info on any sites on the list of Gazetted Officers of Class 1.

Re: Khata Transfer
I think Revenue Officers/Govt College Principals are also eligible to sign.
Re: Khata Transfer
My bank says they can only give a copy of original Khata certified by them, but being told by my advocate that BDA requires original Khata. Has anyone got Khata transferred recently submitting copy of original Khata? Any help would be great.
