Hi ,
Border Burma teak wood is just that burma has stopped selling any teak wood full logs now. So the border states nagaland, mizoram, manipur forest woods are used. Most of these woods are cultivated teak trees with max of 10- 15 years old .
Burma forest teak are more than 40+ years old trees.
Coming to the wood quality border burma teak is same as burma teak but the grains are not matured enough, you will find minimum 30% white shade. No vendor sells seasoned wood in log format, thecnically for a log to get seasoned naturally will take not less than 10-15 years.
Current market price border burma is 5000/- range per CFT.
