Post by sc_new »

Has anybody used garbage disposer. Most of the major sink providers seem to have them at various hp 1/2 or 3/4
Wanted to know how useful are these

In my opinion don't go for it. Instead grabage composting is much better.

1. These garbage disposal units pulverize organic waste from kitchen and flush it in the drain Increasing load on sewage system , water needs Nd maintenance required.

2. Waste of useful resources

Hi,
Garbage disposer is option for kitchen sinks but not utility sinks. Unlike in western countries plumbing we dont have presurized system.
As the other member said rightly its a good option to use decomposer and use the manure to plants. In garbage crusher the solid is converted in to fine particles that will be flushed with water but most times we face problem of settling the slurry in your floor trap that leads to cloggage.
