Has anybody installed quartz composite sink in utility. Partial sunlight falls on the place of sink . On long run will the sink fade or develop cracks
Steel sink I felt makes lots of noise , even the ones with padding underneath and granite sink is occupying lots of place in the tiny utility
Hence exploring options of quartz composite sink even in utility

Hi SC,
Quartz sinks can be used for utility and i suggest to go for light color than dark as the color fading will happen in case of direct sunlight exposure.
Quartz sinks are a good option compared to steel sinks and comes in different colors to match the kitchen counter tops.

I heard from some.people that color fades in quatz sink after few years even the ones installed in kitchen.. is this true?

I am using it with exposure to sun in the morning for about 2 years now.. I have not seen any fading as such..

The lighter colours are prone to staining easily , better to stay away from light colours
