Hi Ar.Praveen / Nivas

Uploaded pics of my granite flooring. I had used Fosroc SBR latex for sealing the stone from under. The end result does not look good given that this stone was gleaming when it had been purchased.

I spoke to hitek chemicals and they do not have any chemical to clean out oil stains.

Visited stonera showroom in HSR layout and they have products for oil / enamel / rust & other stain removal from natural stones. The below products I purchased, will give a try and publish my findings.

1. TWINS2151 is for oil stain removal
2. R55 is a general purpose granite cleaning chemical which is acid free.
3. R77 is a rust remover for hard stone

Update:

These chemicals didn't help. None of them helped for the stains to be removed.

Any advise ?

Granites are natural stones and over the years it is bound to release oil or cracks occur. It also depends on the quality of granite been used. Stains once enters into the granite is not feasible to be removed.

Hi,

I am planning to use hitek marble wonder plus on our white granite to make it stain proof. Please let me know if any one used it and if so does it work well.. Also let me know how much quantity is required per square feet.

Thanks,
Srinivas
