Ideas for spreading mybdasites.com

This thread is created to discuss the best ways to spread mybdasites forum to as many as possible.This helps in sharing more info about the real estates,construction etc....Any suggestions on adding new sub forums about non real estate are also welcome.

Thanks for the suggestions ,your ideas are direct marketing .We are more looking for indirect marketing to reach more needy people.
Since a direct marketing will attract more agents and spammers.
Few of my thoughts
1.Adding mybdasites in the mail signatures.
2.Creating some interesting referral bonus like mybdasites printed tee shirts , mugs etc............
3.Word of mouth by members will be the Best way

Any other ideas are welcome.............

In my opinion, this group is doing well and let this group move in this pace itself. We don't need hyperpublicity for this forum. Else even this forum gets diluted with full of agents and people with commercial interest similar to sulekha, 99acres,magicbricks....etc. we need only genuine buyers and seekers to get the knowledge on the bangalore real estate market.

at one hand you want to reach out to more people and you dont want to commercialise. whats this logic?

Quality comes from Qunatity and to reach out to maximum number of people, one need to comercialise.

Any sales / marketing person will tell out of 100, 90 will say no, only 10 will say yes (this is a generic for consumer products, services ) but for bangalore realestate, the ratio in my experience is 1:100, out of 100 properties, finally one will zero in on 10 and out of these 10, 5 will go upto agreement stage, then you will end up buying one.(4-5 properties on an average out of 100 )

i think this forum is giving more and reliable knowledge on real estate than many.

if u want genuine sellers / buyers in this forum, ask them to pay nominal Rs XX.00/-(lets say Rs 10.00/-) for posting an ad, then one will know how serious and confident he /she is. once money comes, many will think this as scheme or why should i pay etc, but we can really filter out many and we are using that money only to run the website

this forum has many architects, civil eng, lawyers etc they can help prospective buyers with legality, plan sanctioning, even construction (who knows..one day we can come with bdasites project 1 on a lighter note)

we can have banner ads

I agree with Ravi and Msn. I think we concentrate on getting genuine buyers and sellers into this forum instead of more people. This would be possible only with word of mouth which I believe is going on nicely.
I also agree with Ravi on collecting fee. I do not know how feasible is collecting fee per ad but definitely it is worth collecting nominal fee (say 100/-) per year.

The site itself needs some sprucing up. The look and feel of the site is not cotemporary, and it might give the wrong impression for the visitor.

Thanks for the suggestions, i would like to invite some of our active members to form a group and help in making this forum more interesting.IT guys interested in helping out to create good look and feel for this forum,please come forward.Surely they will receive all the credits for there works.

If you want to commercialise this site make it one of 99acres ,sulekha ,etc pay money to a good web designer... Or else please continue the way it is... Trust me there is already word of mouth marketing happening on mybdasites.com

What is your intention that is important. we are actually thank full to you for giving such a phenomenal platform.

I am sure crores of deal has taken place thru this site.
