Precut and bent steel from Sunvik

Post by Visualizer »

Hi,

Any inputs on use of precut and bend steel instead of getting TMT rods and cutting and bending on site.

I sae option of Sunvik precut and bend FE500D.

Is there any cost benifit analysis in terms of buying rods and paying labour vs getting precut ?

Actually I am going to gove civil contract with material so if money is same then would push contractor for precut and bend to save on time and errors.

Also any feedback on Sunvik steel quality will be helpful.

Sunvik is not one of the top brands that you know.
i have not used Sunvik so far but if you want to go for it its not a bad option. most of the builder use these brands.
and their building are standing tall for an individual house it is ok to go for it with out thinking much.
regarding precut, how about the support at site? they need to work in wo phases
1. tying all beam rods. who will do this job?
2. slab rods
if they can do support on site then you can go for it finally we need a good work.

one good thing with cut and bent rods is you can buy the exact quntity.
the bad thing is cordination, if they miss anything you need to spen a lot of time in coordinating and resolving it.

i suggest 25 mm to 12 mm rods go with SUNVIK, PRIME GOLD, KMACHI etc but 10mm and 8 mm go with TATA, JSW, INDUS, VIZAG or SAIL this way you can save some money
