Stilt parking help

Post by riturajmnit »

Hi folks,

I have bought a 40*42 site in Carmelaram and planning to start construction in coming months.
It is a corner site with roads on two side, on one of the side I am planning to make entry for stilt floor parking.

Parking is planned to be designed in 40*20 site so that front view is not disturbed.

Is it advisable and practical ?
Any experience with stilt floor parking will help.

Thanks

Depends on how many rooms you plan to have and how many floors

I am planning to construct Stilt + 2 (Though stilt will be only in half of the plot).
About rooms, maybe 1BHK on ground and 2BH on first floor.

I have two things in mind, just need to understand feasibilty

1> Have complete stilt floor for half of plot.
2> Have a open basement, so that Set off area in back can be used as driveway and rest some 15*20, I can use 3 Car parking in that.

Hi riturajmnit,
Pillar positions play a key role here ,Fix your first and other floor plans you will get pillar positions ->decide on n0 of 4 wheeler and 2 wheeler-> then make modifications such that cars can be parked/ removed from both sides of road . keep ground floor plan open , as you construct you may get better ideas on what can be done or you may be approached by people( boutique, play home etc) who lookout for custom build not so commercial space.
