I have got approval for a G+2 floors (6 units total) with the provision for a lift (elevator). However, due to finance constraints, we will only be constructing G+1 (4 units) currently and hence will not be going for a lift. In such a case, what are the options available to safeguard the lift shaft and ensure that no untoward incident occurs for the occupants of the building)
