Liebert/Emerson PCU 2KW along with panels (2KW) costs about 3.4L ( along with 100 AH x 8 batteries). BORG does not supply batteries.

Liebert PCU is bulkier than BORG PCU. But seems like it is on par with BORG in terms technical specs and system warranty.

@sanjeevj,

Can you share contacts of Liebert/Emerson integrators?

Has any one reviewed Tata Solar Dynamo?

BTW, I got a quote of Rs. 60k for 1kVA Hybrid inverter with 200Ah battery and 220W Solar panels and installation (after government subsidy) for a domestic solar solution from Tata, but their pre Dynamo product range.

Does it look reasonable?

Borg certainly looks expensive.

I was negotiating with Selco a few months ago. I think the pricing was around 97k (battery, PCU, panels etc).

Solar hardware prices are dropping fast. Apparently in US, it has dropped 70% in 2-3 years. So maybe in another 2-3years, solar will be cheaper than our ESCOMS (& more reliable too)

Have you looked into Tata Solar Dynamo? It is turnkey solar solution.. It costs about 1.5lakhs for 1 kva.
Comes with panels, lithium battery pack and i guess installation as well. You get 30% tax rebate as well.

Is Tata Solar Dynamo is similar to Borg and Emerson? Looks like WRT cost.

I finally went for a local solution costing about Rs. 58k which includes:
2kVA hybrid (solar + mains) inverter
300Ah solar tubular batteries (150*2)
300Wp solar panels (150*2)
frame, wiring and installation
