UPVC Window Quote

Post by hcsatish »

Greetings,
I have got following quote for upvc windows from different vendors..
1. Torfenster
Windows type : casement
Area : 326 sq ft
Price per sq ft: 1100

2. Finesta
Prince : 1225 per sq ft

3.Madhu Industries
Price : 750 per sq ft.

Is the quote price normal ? do i need to negotiate with them ? what is the present market rate ?

Thanks and Regards,
Satish

Hi Satish,
In Upvc casement type window is the costliest system. If your cavity dimension is smaller in size the cost will be on the higher side but still you can negotiate for the rate you got. Is the above mentioned rate is for white colour?
There is no market rate for Upvc. It depends upon the profile they use.(brand/company).
Thanks,
Manivannan.

There are more in the market. You can look at Deepa Building systems UPVC windows as well...they do work with lot of big projects...and the rates will be very competetive than fenesta or others.

How is KASSA UPVC windows ? (www.kassaent.com/) has anyone tried them ?
They are importing the profiles directly from an Korean Company called KOS (www.kos.co.kr) including the fittings. Rates are very competitive compared to German brands.
Have seen it installed at some of the apartments in Bangalore. Similar to other brands, they provide complete steel reinforcement inside the profile and provide standard 10 years warranty.
They have factory at Sriperumbadur, Chennai, where they cut and assemble the profile as per actual measurement before shipping to customers.

I have shortlisted them for my house windows/french windows & doors.

Any reviews or feedback ?

UPVC was a costly affair, went with RED sal and 1st teak for windows, saved around 1Lakh compared to finesta.
