Is it safe to give Schedule page from sale deed to Broker?

Post by sun244 »

Friends,

I am trying to sell a property and the Broker is asking for Schedule page from sale deed. Is it safe to share it? I am worried this guy will copy and distribute it freely. Any advice or suggestions will be appreciated.

Thank you

It's the norm generally, so that the broker would be able to locate the property correctly. However, if you are still worried, what you can do is write this across the schedule page copy "Given to estate agent Mr.. to assist in property sale. Not to be used otherwise", etc, etc. Even if they produce multiple copies thereafter, this statement would also be printed on the copies
