Paying taxes for panchayath site is not yet possible as per my knowledge. Recently ( about six months back ) one of my client tried for online payment options but finally he has to approach panchayath office to pay his taxes. Instead of paying in cash now you can pay in specific bank and submit the counter foil to update the tax payment of your site unlike earlier it was cash collection and you have no guarantee if the money collected it deposited to panchayath account or not.
There are classic cases of fake property tax paid receipts generated in panchayat areas by local agents and temp workers in the office itself.
Hopefully soon the govt will make tax payment online since they have come up with E kahata for all panchayat sites .
