Is it legal to buy < 10 year BDA site ?

Hi,

I read in one of the blog that BDA sites will have a lock in period of 10 years and allotted owner cannot sell the site before this period. As I am planning to buy a site in Banashankari 6th stage, I want to know how safe is it to do so. Banashankari 6th stage sites were allotted in Sep 2002 and Jan 2004.

Please can you also let me know what is the current market price in that area.

That rule is not applicable for BSK 6th Stage, Anjana Pura and SMV Layout which were done during the X Chief Minister S.M Krishana's period after relaxing that rule.

The earlier layouts have already crossed 10 years period and the latest Arkavathy layout is not yet allotted to the eligibles.
