BSK6 layout investment / appreciation potential?

Hi Friends -

I am new member for bdasites. I am considering buying a site in one of the good blocks in BSK6.
Please suggest the better blocks in BSK6. Moreover, i am also trying to do some research in the price history/trend in BSK6.
If the market was/is normal, we could consider market rate as the correct price. As we all know, what happened over the past few years moved the market price way higher than the intrinsic value.
What is the opinion of the members about BSK6.

1) What is the correct/appropriate price with the potential development scope for BSK6, purely from investment stand point. (I am not talking about the market price here)
2) What are the blocks which have the better potential to become hot spots.

I came across the below link that states prices in BSK6 moved from 500 (2006) to 800 (2007) to 1700 (2008). Is that true?
It looks scary to invest in the plot if the scenario is true.

Kumar,

I have been following BSK6 since 3 years, and the price was never 600 in 2006, it was around 1100-1450, increased to 1400-1600 in 2007 and 1800-2000 in 2008, and as of today I don't think these figures of 2000+ will be reached in 2 to 3 years.

Even if the recession ends in Oct-Dec 2009, there will be a jobless recovery for next 2 years atleast followed by a heavy inflation as the countries around the globe are printing money. You need to wait atleast 5 years.

Well if u want to stay there then it will be livable in 2-3 years.

in BSK 6th Stage, 6th, 7th, 8th and 10th blocks are good and are very close to the 100 ft road and near to the NICE road entrance. The current Quoted price is Rs.1600/sq.ft and selles are all land owners who got this sites in exchange for their land notification and they're not ready for any kind of negotiation.

I strongly believe 4th,5th and 6th and 7th blocks are good to invest. I am a big fan of 5th block as some of the sites are in elevated area
and have beautiful view of the entire layout. (If you have a balcony in the future, you won't regret)

Hi,

Please let me know if you are ok with Visweswariah Layout. I feel development is a little faster in Visweriah than BSK 6.

I own a site of 30 x 40 and want to dispose it.
