Prevailing rates in anjanapura 2nd block
HI,
I am planning to buy south facing 20*30 plot in Anjanapura 2nd block. What is the prevailing rate per sqft?

I enquired about couple of sites in 2nd A Block and brokers were quoting 2600 psft. Assuming 300 to 400 Rs Negotiation I think 2200 to 2300 would be the final rate for 30*40.
I am also looking for a site. Let me know if u have any details so that we can search combinedly.

2nd block rates should be about 2000 and not any more. 9,10,11th blocks are going at around Rs 2600 to 3000.

2nd Block already has quite a few houses 'fully constructed', and additionally at-least another 7-8 houses which are 'under construction'. The same development can be seen in 3rd Block too. And these blocks are very close to Kanakapura road, with a neatly tarred, wide double road connection. I am not surprised that people are quoting a higher price for these blocks.
And, it again depends on the exact location of the plot in the 2nd block. If the plot is 'around/next to' the cluster of houses close to the mainroad, then the asking price is higher, maybe more than 2500. And if the plot is a little secluded, For Eg: anywhere near the land owned by Kheny, on the backside of 2nd block, the asking price is much lesser.
And, it again depends on the exact location of the plot in the 2nd block. If the plot is 'around/next to' the cluster of houses close to the mainroad, then the asking price is higher, maybe more than 2500. B.D.A. Apartments opposite dumping yard near2nd block,anjana
hi recently i visited anjanapura 2nd block, and just opposite to dumping yard and BEHIND MARUTHI theatere i saw, huge excavation progress with barcading and labour sheds, and when i enquired about, with security gaurds, they said the project is B.D.A. Apartments which is comming up over there,and it seems to be a good developmental signs, but i have not heard about B.D.A. Apartments previously, have anybody got more information about this. ?

Yes, you are right. These are 'BDA Flats/Apartments'. Construction is in full swing and apparently when I enquired last week, looks like they are building more than 200 flats!
BDA Flats/apartments can be generally seen in most of the already fully-developed BDA layouts. These flats are built by the BDA and then sold/auctioned to public.
However, In this case of the 'BDA Flats' coming up near Anjanapura 2nd block , I heard these flats are being built for the people who are already living in a different BDA apartments in some other layout. So, only they will be relocating to this new 'BDA Flat' once it is complete.

1st and 2nd block rates are going around 2300-2700. These are agent rates so it will be up by 200-300 i guess?
