Hi,

My relative was allotted a land in Arkavathy Layout (near Jakkur). He has been paying property tax since 2013 online, since then online property tax payment stopped working. My relative is in Govt Service is transferred out of Bangalore. I visited BDA office at RT Nagar to pay property tax but I was told that we need to get a confirmation letter from BDA head office that LAND is not de-notified.

Can anyone tell how can we get the letter from BDA office ? Is the process simple ? What papers to carry to get the letter.
Is there any property consultant / lawyer who can help in this?

Thanks,
Diganta

Dear Bhat

Your query is not clear as you've mentioned land was allotted.

Are you asking about BDA Site or a raw land within the Arkavathy Layout ?

For BDA Sites, there is no need of any denotification letter. you can take the latest EC and pay the tax manually.

In case of Raw/Agricultural land, you may need it. For that you need to visit the BDA Office and give a written request to
issue a letter.

Thanks for the reply. Its BDA site in Arkavathy Layout.
The RT Nagar BDA office asked for confirmation that it was not de notified in 2014 for paying property tax. Tax is paid from (around) 2007 - 13 since site was allotted.
