Payment of property tax for the year 2020-2021

I was trying to pay the property tax for the year 2020-21. The BDA website mentions as the tax payment for this year is closed. Please help me with details as to how to pay the taxes for the year 2020-21 as well as 2021-22.

Hi,
I had visited the BDA office in BSK 2nd Stage. They said currently payment option is disabled due to yearend process.
They said it will be opened during Second week of the May 2021 and we need to wait until that as they are not accepting cash at least in BSK II stage.

This is turning out to be a pain, tried to pay online for 2021-22, the website lists the property details based on the property ID, but does not allow a login (May01). So, cannot make a payment.

Can't understand why BDA system is so sloppy? BBMP has manged the transition to digital much better.

1) Made an effort to pay online property tax for 2021-22, the website displays the property details based on the property ID, but does not allow a login (June 01). So, cannot make a payment. However I understand the date for payment of advance property tax is extended upto 30th June 2021 with rebate of 5% . Hoping that issue of login will be resolved soon.

Yes. I second that. I have tried a couple of times since mid-May 2021 with no success. It lists the property but does not navigate to login page. Please let us know when this issue gets resolved or if there is any other means to pay the taxes.

Main BDA website mentions that during lockdown, they're working at 50% capacity and property tax portal would be rectified shortly.

This is more of a issue created by the Authorities it seems. I tried calling up some of the numbers as per the BDA site. All they told was, Go to the Office and Pay. They never told any time line to rectify the online portal.

Frankly speaking non-of BDA officials are bothered about online facility giving to public, they are most opposite to this automate process, as it reduces income(bribe) flow to them. Need to escalate these IT issues to Govt.

We have a vacant BDA plot in JP nagar 8 phase, purchased in auction. Dimension is 2050 sq. feet. We have been asked to pay property tax of 7300 Rs this year
Just wanted to know is this tax amount correct or more for a vacant site? Please inform us.

I do see maintenance charges are added this year for plots. I have one 20x30 site in Anjanapura 11th block, however, maintenance added is Rs1200/-. Does anyone know how much maintenance charges per sft. Rs1200/- per 20x30 seems high. I wrote to the email-id given for enquiries, but no response..
