Smart Water Meter to monitor Individual Unit Consumption In Apartments & Multi Storey Buildings

Sharing the water bill is always a disputed fact in most of the Flats or an individual units in a Multi storey building as each one will have their own perception without data leading to conflicts & arguments.

Here is an attempt from a Bangalore based startup "Smarter Home Technologies' in designing a cloud based smart meter to resolve such disputes.
Meter will be installed on supply line for each of the units and usage will be monitored and charged as per the prevailing tariff by the supplying authority like BWSSB to the end user by usage slabs or at Bulk level if the building is using tanker water.

Company says, either users can buy it or taken on monthly rental basis also and the usage data can be monitored 24X7 from anywhere.
