Re: Solar Heater

msn thanks for your reply. I dont like the idea of wasting so much electricity on cloudy days. Is having geyser as a backup the only option? Dont we have an option of an alternative in solar heaters even now? Just trying to find out what is the best option here.

When discussing solar heaters with friends I had heard that coils that are attached to the solar heater can be used in winters and rainy days. I want to know if with this arrangement can we completely eliminate geysers? Also when using coil will it heat the entire water in a the tank and unnecessari...

Re: Is it possible to enhance the already sanctioned home lo

You can obtain top up loan on top of the existing loan amount. Otherwise you cant get it refinanced by the same bank or worst case you can just get it financed by another bank which gives you the required amount.

Re: Finally Started my construction a Duplex 30X50 site in E

Thanks a lot Martin. One more question - will VAT be additional on top of this and also what are the charges for loading, unloading transportation etc and such misc charges. My contractor also told me that we would need to plan with 10% wastage as well.

Re: Finally Started my construction a Duplex 30X50 site in E

Martin this is useful info for people like me who are a bit behind and helps with planning. Will you be going for granite for the entire house (since i did not see tiles other than for walls). Hoping you post pictures of the granite to know how they look. :)

Good to see the progress. The 45 days that you mentioned - do you mean the rest of the work is supposed to complete in this time period?

Re: Pro & Con of Basement

When there is a heavy rain and power cuts then basements may get flooded. Many people use pumps to throw out water but that may fail if no power. About getting additional area, basement and stilt floor are treated in the same manner right? I mean stilt floor is not added when sanctioning number of f...
