Yes, seems like no one in the government is bothered. As mentioned in one of the posts, it is impacting commoners like us the most. I believe best strategy is to stop construction work, this would put pressure on many other industries like cement, steel etc and those cartels could work to our favour.

I have already bought cement, so not sure whether RMC is an option for me.

Any update on sand issue? I am kind of struck for past few weeks as I am not able to get Trichy sand supply. I used to pay Rs 23-25k for a 4 wheel load, but now I hear it is Rs 40k+ and very rarely you will be able to get the load. Any suggestions?
