Re: Does renting makes sense for now?
I think what amit is asking is whether living as a renter for now makes sense or whether buying a house to live in makes sense. The cost is high no doubt. There are a lot of speculators in the market and they will have to sell at some point. But the infrastructure is limited to certain areas only an...

Re: 2 storey construction on a 1200 st site
I searched the byelaws and there is nothing there that indicates the minimum size of a plot if stilts are to be used. Can an architect or an engineer on this board shed some light on this matter?

Re: compound wall
Could you tell me how long it took to get this wall constructed? I know that a good answer to construction related questions is "it depends", but an approximate timeframe is helpful.

Re: Going rate for plot+house in Srirampuram BLore
What I learnt is that only the land area is counted in these transactions and the construction has little value to it. I am not sure if I am violating any forum rules here - just wanted to post this on behalf of a friend. There are 2 adjacent houses for sale in Srirampuram and the total area is arou...

Going rate for plot+house in Srirampuram BLore
Hello forum members - Do you guys have any idea what the going rate for an independent house/plot+house is in Srirampuram? I have heard a rather high number of Rs4800/sqft for a old construction house. I wanted to ask you people if this sounds too high. The house is away from the slum part of Sriram...

Re: Krishnappa Layout
I have gotten similar replies for the past 5 years. I am thinking of asking for my money back, which I think looks doubtful now.

Re: Krishnappa Layout
I am one of those people still waiting for a 60*40 site allotment in SLN city. I am curious to know if anyone else is still waiting. The society I have gone through is claiming delays in approvals because of "political environment", but I am not sure how true this is. I have stepped up pressure from...
